About SnipKit

SnipKit is a collection of free, browser-based developer tools — converters, formatters, validators, generators and calculators. Every tool runs entirely client-side: the text and files you work with are processed in your browser and never uploaded to a server.

Who's behind it

SnipKit is built and maintained by Aleksei Bobrik, a software engineer who got tired of ad-heavy, upload-your-file-first utility sites and decided to build faster, private alternatives. Every tool and every article on this site is written and reviewed by him.

How the blog works

The SnipKit blog covers the practical side of the same topics the tools solve: data format conversions, encoding, hashing, text processing and web development workflows. Articles are based on how the tools actually work under the hood, and each one links to a free tool you can use immediately — no signup, no upload.
